Walking Tours of San Francisco

These tours are in the form of a photographically rich e-book that you can enjoy on either your iPad or phone.

We have partnered with Gumroad to do the actual selling of these downloadable tours. On Gumroad you can sign up for notices of new tours and future discounts for good customers.

Each of our tours vary in mileage, but all take approximately 2 hours to complete.  They are all easy walking on relatively flat ground.  If there is climbing over some of our fabulous hills the description will tell you.

Market Street #1

Walk Market Street from The Embarcadero to Second Street.  You will stop at 14 art and architecture spots and learn some interesting history along the way.

This tour covers 18 stops on Market Street from Second to Grant Avenue.  You will also learn about interesting Market Street history.

Market Street #3

This tour covers 16 stops on Market Street from Grant Avenue to Taylor. You will learn about the art and architecture of Market Street as well as lots of history along the way.

This tour along Market Street takes you to 22 stops of Art and Architecture as well as the history.  You travel from Sixth Street to 10th Street.

Coit Tower

Coit Tower

Walk a stairway to this iconic symbol of San Francisco.  Explore the WPA murals inside of Coit Tower and then descend to the bay via a stairway clinging to the side of the hill adorned with homes and gardens.  Visit a few architectural gems along the descent, and end in Levi Plaza.

This tour includes a steep climb up stairs to Telegraph Hill and a steep climb down stairs from Coit Tower.  While beautiful, please keep this in mind.

North Beach

North Beach is the heart of San Francisco’s Little Italy and the birthplace of the Beat Generation.  Stroll the streets lined with shops and restaurants that beg to be explored, while enjoying the history and the art and architecture of the area.
